Macaulay Ross

Aidan Grant

Calum Jones

Rowan Duncan

Rowan is our Bass Guitarist.

He joined the band two years ago and has brought a new dimension to our music. Recently he tasked himself with learning the bagpipes which came in very useful (and very noisy) at new year when he piped in the bells.

Rowan comes from a very musical family, in fact he follows in his dads footsteps as he also plays the bass.

He enjoys all music but the top of his current playlist is 2 Door Cinema Club, Catfish & the Bottlemen & Jonny Cash.

Macaulay ( Jocky to his friends )

plays the Fiddle.

He has a strong interest in traditional Scottish music, which he inherited from his grandad who he has fond memories of watching play the box when he was just a little boy.

He takes inspiration from the likes of Aly Bain, Gordon Gunn, Ross Couper, James Alexander & Kevin Henderson.

In addition to Footerin' Aboot he also performs regularly with

The Fochabers Fiddlers Frontline.

Calum plays the drums, cajon, guitar & sings with the band.

Although drums will always be his first love (particularly Jazz drumming in the styles of Buddy Rich, Andrew Baine & Johnathan Silk) he also enjoys writing lyrics so spends as much time these days on his guitar, writing original songs which he performs with the band & solo.

His music has a celtic rock / traditional / folk vibe and his favourite bands at the moment are Elephant Sessions, Skerryvore, Skippinish & CC Smugglers.

He is also a member of the Fochabers Fiddlers as well as Moray Swing Band and Milnes Jazz Band.

Aidan is our newbie and the youngest member of the band.

Originally hailing from Forres he now lives in sunny Hopeman.

He's our guitarist (although he also plays fiddle and piano) and is settling in nicely despite tendancies to go off on some savage heavy rock solos now and again.
